Corporate fundraising success for Bath Cats and Dogs Home

Never Always work with rugby players and rescue dogs

A PR case study for generating charity stakeholder media coverage

Teaming up: Bath Cats and Dogs Home with Bath Rugby

To build on the success of previous press coverage for Bath Cats and Dogs Home’s annual corporate fundraising day, we teamed up with Bath Rugby to help score more column inches

This summer we were again instructed by the RSPCA rescue centre in Bath to gain media coverage for the the charity’s annual Kennel Break fundraising challenge.

The event sees a number of willing businesses from across Bath and the South West locked into rescue dog pens for a morning – each needing to hound their connections for donations to buy their release.

Bath Cats and Dogs Home is one of the biggest and busiest adoption and rehoming centres in the South West, annually rehoming around 1,300 animals from across Bath, Somerset and Wiltshire. Over the last six years, Kennel Break participants have helped the charity to raise £67,183 towards its £1.4 million annual running costs.

The PR campaign we developed for Kennel Break 2017 attracted the following media coverage for Bath Cats and Dogs Home – and its stakeholders, the brilliant businesses and animal loving fundraisers who took part:
