Press release / Wiltshire Council selects local firm to serve up greener vending

Press release issued for Wiltshire business Hilton Vending, based in Westbury

Wiltshire Council has enlisted the services of a local supplier of coffee and vending equipment, for all of its county offices and premises.

Westbury-based Hilton Vending Services was selected by the Council to provide ethically sourced tea and coffee ingredients, as well as vending machines to all of the council’s hubs and depots, including the new County Hall opening in August.

The vending company was recognised for its strong environmental credentials:  its machines demonstrate the highest level of energy efficiency, thanks to sophisticated heating and energy management technology.

As well as sourcing ingredients endorsed by the Rainforest Alliance, Hilton Vending also supplies non toxic packaging and containers and bio degradable cups.

Hilton Vending’s contract includes the supply of premium bean to cup coffees, lattes and cappuccinos, using supplies from leading coffee producers such as Douwe Egberts and Kenco.

“As a business which has been operating in Wiltshire for over 20 years, this new working partnership represents a significant new milestone” commented Martin Killian, managing director of Westbury company Hilton Vending.

“We’re very proud to have been chosen as a supplier to the Council and pleased to be recognised for meeting such a high standard of requirements.”

Hilton Vending Services is an independently-owned vending machine supplier and operator. The company is an accredited member of trade bodies Automatic Vending Association and the Cover Group – 20 leading independent operators sharing the same business principles and values.
